East Hartford

This group meets fortnightly in East Hartford Community Centre on a Tuesday from 6.00pm until 8.00pm.

It is a very inclusive and friendly group

This group originally met at the Church of the Nazareen in Cramlington. When the venue changed we welcomed new participants that live in East Hartford..

This group have benefitted from support from The ASDA Foundation, Cramlington Town Council, The Recovery College, The Community Fund Northumberland County Councils Community Chest and most recently The Leech Foundation. The Leech Foundation is keen to develop volunteering and community involvement. We did this by involving the group in Elf School, Coffee mornings and Craft Markets.

Before I found this group, I was only leaving the house once a week to see my elderly mother. It has helped me, I do all sorts now, but this is the best.

I loved volunteering as an elf, I’ve never done anything like that before, I want to do it again! year as well.
